A re-issue featuring improved wood engravings interspersed throughout the text.  Beautiful coloured images in the back section.  This book is a very rare find.  It was written to help classify plants and provide comprehensive descriptions of leaves, seeds, fruits, flowers and vegetables.  The book has an impressive collection of coloured illustrations.

Condition: Good, bindings in good order, some damage to front cover.  Some foxing to pages from age. W. Watson written in pencil on the first page.
