By definition, an antique is something that is at least one hundred years old. Whether it be a book, a piece of furniture or a pretty plate. It is classed as an antique if it is one hundred years old or more.
Vintage on the other hand are items that are at least 20 years old but less than one hundred years old.
Items are offered daily. In the past, we have imported container loads of stock from England, France, and the Mediterranean. Luckily, there is plenty of stock available and I have a shop full to prove it!
Yes! We buy from the public on a regular basis. We only buy if it is something we need in stock at the time. Items must be in good condition,
e.g., We can’t buy plates with chips or cracks. If you have something to sell, please send photos to yvonnesanders@xtra.co.nz with measurements, and please include your phone number.
Yes! We do hire our stock. It often goes out for film and television sets, but we also hire stock for weddings and the like. If you would like to hire something, please contact the shop on (09)6303904 or pop in and see me. You can find our hire terms here.
No. We have a lot of stock, and it is not possible to have it all online. If you would like to see everything, please do visit us in-store.
You can visit us at 474 Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

We offer traditional Layby in-store over a two-month term, with a 20% deposit. We expect regular weekly or fortnightly payments.
Goods must be paid in full before collection.
We use the services of NZ Post, Aramex and other local courier services.
No. We only ship within New Zealand.
You can collect your purchase from our store at 474 Manukau Road, Epsom, Auckland. You will receive an email when it is ready for collection.
