French Walnut Headboard with Ormolu Mounts

Headboard only but showcasing a superb Bur Walnut veneer with Kingswood banding around the border.  The top curve is decorated with gilded ormolu garland swags with more ormolu mounted to the tops of each turned column on either side.  Dated circa 1890.

French size: 146cm wide x 142cm tall at the center of the headboard.

Will suit New Zealand Queen size which is 153cm wide, or Double which is 137cm wide.
